Markets Worry About Higher-for-longer Interest Rates

Interest rates remaining higher for longer than expected, weighed on market sentiment across assets and regions. The dollar touched 10-month highs, amidst hawkish hints from Fed officials. Fears of a U.S. govt shutdown also weighed on sentiment.
