A cleaning fanatic has gone viral on TikTok after she shared a new hack to speed up cleaning radiators. The 20-year-old TikToker, @cleaningwithcharl, swears by the B&M Bargains Blast Can to spray all the dust trapped inside the grilles. Instead of using a duster, Charl uses the Fabulosa Air Freshener & Sanitiser, which can be purchased at B&M for just £1.49.

She sprays the air freshener directly into the radiator and the pressure pushes the dust though and onto the floor.

Charl was amazed at how much dust came out as she gathered it all into a ball when she had finished.

The radiators were sparkling by the time she had finished and using air freshener sanitises and makes the room smell nice at the same time!

Hundred of people were amazed by the new hack and were quick to comment. One said: “Wait WHAT???? Grabs keys and is out the door.”

Another said: “I thought it was spiders at first! I was ready to run!”

A third commented: “I have this and it is powerful and smells amazing.” To which Charl replied: “It’s like a fire extinguisher isn’t it!”

Others were quick to suggest their own radiator cleaning tip, with a few saying they usually blast their radiator with a hairdryer.

Another suggested rinsing the radiator by pouring water through the grilles, but Charl said she had tried this and it was “a bit messy” for her.

Social media has become a hotbed for cleaning hacks. A Mrs Hinch fan revealed that they swear by vinegar to get sparkling, streak-free windows. They said: “Half and half mix of water and vinegar. Spray on and wipe with a blue cloth then dry with a glass cleaning cloth.”

Vinegar is also a popular remedy for dirty sinks and drains. Cleaning expert, Dominic Lees-Bell, recommends pouring a cup of white vinegar down the drain and letting it sit for 30 minutes. Then, rinse with hot water

Mr Lees-Bell also says: “If you have some baking soda in the house try adding this to the vinegar trick.

“Baking soda on its own does a decent job of loosening grimy sludge from your drain, and when you add some vinegar as well you get a chemical reaction that should hopefully jolt the blockage loose.”
