GOOGLE users have been warned not to ignore certain notifications on their Wi-Fi routers or risk a poor connection.
Seeing a light notification on your Google Wi-Fi products – such as your Nest or Point – could mean a bad connection.
Below we have outlined four of these warning signs to help you better troubleshoot your Google Wi-Fi.
Slow-blinking yellow light
If you see a slow blinking yellow light on your Google Nest Wifi Pro router, this indicates a network error.
In this event, Google recommends that users check their Ethernet cable is connected to both their router and modem.
Users also need to make sure that both devices are turned on.
To fix the problem, you might need to unplug, then plug in each device again.
Fast-blinking yellow light
If you see a fast-blinking yellow light, this could mean one of two things.
First, is that you are holding down the reset button and factory resetting the device.
However, it could also indicate that your device encountered an error during setup.

If something did go wrong, Google says to wait for the device to slowly pulse blue, then try to pair the device again.
Fast-blinking red light
A fast-blinking, pulsing, or solid red light is a surefire sign that something is wrong with your Wi-Fi.
Google labels this notification as a "critical failure." In order to troubleshoot this, you need to factory reset the router.
And if that doesn't work, or the light stays red, then you may need to contact Wi-Fi customer support.
Pulsing orange light
Seeing a pulsing orange light means that your Wi-Fi has no internet connection.
You will need to check your Ethernet cable, in this case, to make sure that it's properly connected to your primary Wifi point and modem.
