Frozen supermarket giant, Iceland, is offering online shoppers five more days of 1p deals to help feed their families for cheaper over the summer holidays.
The Holiday 1p Helpers scheme launched last Wednesday (August 2) and will run until Friday, August 11, and is available to those who have an Iceland Bonus Card.
Prices of selected grocery items are slashed to 1p for 24 hours, which can see some make savings of up to £3.74 on weekly staples.
Richard Walker, executive chairman at Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse said: “We know how tough it can be to feed the family during the summer.
“We wanted to make more items accessible for our shoppers and ease the stress when it comes to doing the weekly shop by giving unbeatable value on some of the nation’s favourite fridge and freezer fillers.”

He added: “There’s no catch, just shop via the Iceland app and use the code – it couldn’t be easier.”
Each day, a code will be made available for shoppers to redeem at the checkout on the Iceland Bonus Card app for the selected 1p daily item.
Customers are advised to keep an eye on Iceland’s Instagram and app each day, as this is where the exclusive code will be announced. Items that have so far been included in the 1p deals have ranged from chicken dippers and bacon to kit kats.
It should be noted that the discount is not available in-store and an online shopping account will be required to snap up the deals.

What is an Iceland Bonus Card?
Those who have hold of an Iceland Bonus Card are awarded a flat £1 bonus each time they spend £20.
This scheme runs all year round, meaning there is no cut-off point to receive a bonus. The £1 is added whenever £20 is deposited to the account.
People can also get ‘Bonus Card prices’ in-store, which are only available to people paying with a bonus card. The maximum bonus that can be earned with this card is £50 and there is no expiry date to spend it.
