NVIDIA has unveiled an incredible 65-inch computer monitor built specifically for video gamers.

The Nvidia BFGD was revealed at the annual CES 2018 tech convention in Las Vegas, and will be a must-have for die-hard PC gamers.

The new monitor is part of a new series of devices from Nvidia called "big format gaming displays".

This 65-inch model features an eye-watering 4K display resolution, and promises a refresh rate of 120Hz – ideal for high-powered gaming.

Gamers will also enjoy the support for High Dynamic Range, or HDR, visuals, which means a wider range of colours and improved contrast.

Nvidia is also shipping its latest model with the company's own G-Sync technology, which aims to deliver a "buttery-smooth gaming experience".

Praising the new model, Nvidia's Matt Wuebbling says: "PC gamers expect high peformance and instant response times but, until now, they've been largely limited to traditional desktop displays."

He says that the new monitors change that, and boasts: "PC gamers can now experience their favourite titles in all the low-latency glory they deserve."

Part of the TV's attraction is the integration of Nvidia Shield functionality, which is based on Google's Android TV platform.

This allows gamers to easily switch between gaming and other forms of entertainment, with a bundled Shield remote and game controller to help things along.

Nvidia has also kitted out the giant TV-sized monitor with the Google Assistant, a voice-controlled virtual helper that works just like Amazon Alexa.

Unfortunately, there's no exact release date, with Nvidia only offering a vague "summer" launch window.

Pricing and exact specs are still unknown at this stage, but it's likely that you'll have to pay a fortune for the luxury of owning this monitor.
